Scholarship Programme
The aim of Aula’s scholarship programme is to promote equal opportunities, and to give value to students’ effort and motivation.
By awarding scholarships the school aims to ensure that candidates with fewer financial resources can still access a top-level education. For students who are passionate about knowledge, the scholarship offers the opportunity to go further in their curiosity.
The school offers social scholarships for students from Fifth year of Primary to Second year of Baccalaureate which, depending on the needs of the family, cover schooling partially or totally.
The scholarship program began in the 2003-2004 academic year and, since then, more than 160 students have been scholarship holders in Aula.
Testimonials from scholarship recipients
María Lola Picón, class of Logos
“My experience at Aula is unforgettable as it has marked me not only professionally but also personally. On the one hand, it has given me a thirst for knowledge, both in the sciences and the humanities. And on the other, it has given me the drive and integrity to achieve my goals. And I owe it to those professors who are in love with their profession and subject, always willing to help you take that step further. A level of drive that helped me take on the biggest challenges, both at university and during my master’s degree, and to enjoy them thoroughly.”
Rafael Àvila, class of Àrtic
“Receiving a scholarship to study at Aula Escola Europea was one of the best opportunities I’ve had in my life. After finishing my degree in computer engineering, I can really see how my years in school have served me, and I have come to the conclusion that knowledge can be obtained in many ways, but the values acquired and the pursuit of excellence instilled in me will guide me all my life.”
Martina Dipasquale, class of Àneu
“Aula gave me two wonderful years in my life, learning and doing things I would never have done otherwise. Was it a big challenge? Yes. Would you do it again? Always.”
Leo Alcivar, class of Àrtic
“From my time at Aula I take with me two elements that have marked, not only my professional career, but also my personal life. On the one hand, an overflowing curiosity for knowledge, whether humanistic or scientific, and on the other, enough fortitude to achieve my goals. And I owe it to those teachers in love with their profession and subject, always ready to help you take that step further. A drive that led me not to close doors, neither at university nor in the master’s degree, and to enjoy even the most stimulating challenges that they proposed to me.”
Pep Alis Nknogo, class of Logos
“After finishing my studies at Aula, I am studying materials engineering in English at EEBE. Although engineering has a reputation for being particularly difficult in the first few months, I feel more than capable of reaching the goals of the first semester. This is also because I had already taken four of my current five subjects: calculus, computer science, physics and chemistry, making the classes a continuation of what I had already studied.
I have realized that attending Aula has taught me four languages, how to follow a routine and be rigorous in my work, how to think critically when researching information, how to compare results, and above all, how to take advantage of solid academic foundations to deal with all the problems that arise.”
