Who we are
Aula Escola Europea is a private, non-confessional school and independent of any specific ideology.
It is an innovative centre with a continuous desire to improve and be open to the world.
We develop our own curriculum aimed at enhancing all the skills of our students as well-rounded individuals.
Aula was founded in 1968. Our extensive experience in education has allowed us to preserve those initial pillars that we would like to continue to shape our identity (cultivation of critical thinking, multilingualism, autonomy, discovery) while also adapting to present needs.
Mission
The reason for our existence, is to provoke a passion for learning. Learning throughout life, in a changing environment that our students will need to know how to transform in a favourable way to be able to develop their life and work projects.
We bet on passion as a learning path. It has swiftness, enjoyment, lightness, satisfaction and perseverance. Talent and effort are its natural consequences.

Aula’s goal is to be a leading school based on the educational spirit of research and discovery, where each student bravely traces their own path.
Values
Our values are the beliefs that frame and guide our practices and decisions.
We can determine two central ones: creativity and responsibility.

We value imagination and knowledge to generate new ideas that allow original solutions to be put into practice.

A humanist spirit that appeals to the uniqueness of each student, in a dialogue that pushes them to discover and build their personal path, to become complete citizens.
Integration of difference
Celebration of the idiosyncrasy and value of any kind of diversity as a basis for existence and coexistence. In it lies the majority of opportunities and it is the basis for our community’s strength.
Culture of discovery
Willingness to understand causes and effects using play as a mechanism. This leads to living in awe, to being surprised by the unknown and being moved by the discovery.
Critical thinking
Passion with reflection: quality based on knowledge and stimulated by curiosity. It contains a certain sense of idealism: of going further, of thinking that it is possible to generate a positive impact. It also implies perceiving errors as a basis for learning, daring to take risks.
Vindication of knowledge
Learn from the knowledge created throughout history, expressed through the different disciplines. They are benchmarks in the face of uncertainty and ambiguity. Culture as a root in tradition, as a travel companion that gives light in moments of doubt and also as a refuge in which to recreate oneself.
