- Wednesday: from 8.45 am to 12.45 pm.
The schedule for Baccalaureate students depends on the chosen itinerary.
Students can enter the school premises from 8.15 am.
School Bus
The school has 15 bus lines that cover Barcelona and the surrounding area. Each of these lines is assigned a driver and fixed chaperons throughout the course. The school manages this service.
All our students (including those in Kindergarten) can use the bus service.
J2 students (age 2 years-old) have an adapted seat belt and sit at the front of the bus with their chaperone.
Kitchen and Dining Area
The school has an inhouse catering service which is managed by the company Scolarest. In addition to lunch, we offer snacks to all students.
All food is prepared daily at the school. We have two kitchens, one for the exclusive use of Kindergarten.
Menus
- We ensure that the menus are balanced and healthy, following the recommendations of the Catalan health authorities and advised by a team of nutritionists.
- We take special care in cases of intolerances, allergies, or specific requirements of our students and offer suitable menus.
- The school provides a picnic service for school outings.
- Families have access to the monthly menu.
The dining area is another space for learning; therefore, the teachers themselves, along with collaborators, accompany the students during lunchtime.
Students learn basic hygiene, table manners and dietary habits for healthy eating.
Extracurricular activities
The school offers extracurricular activities on Wednesday afternoons and at midday.
Students can choose from a wide range of activities and find the opportunity to develop their cultural, artistic and sports interests beyond the classroom.
Sports teams
Sport is an essential activity for the development of students. They learn and practice the values of teamwork; they develop strength of will to overcome challenges; they learn honesty and respect through competition.
During school hours, students take physical education classes but those who want to do more can sign up to Sport School (Primary I-VI) or join the school’s sports teams (from Primary III onwards).
The school has basketball, volleyball, football, and handball teams.
Aula Muntanya
Aula Muntanya is a voluntary activity that consists of four outings to the mountains spending one night in a refuge, spread across the year. Since the 2015-2016 academic year, as a novelty, it also includes a three-day outing at the end of the school year (two nights).
These outings help to address the need for students to learn to confront challenges, to find purpose in their efforts, and to nurture their personal autonomy and curiosity.
Living in the mountains also helps them to learn about and understand the natural heritage of the country and develop a taste for beauty. Mountain and hiking activities provide a setting that nurtures these motivations and help to achieve the goals that are integral to Aula’s overarching objectives.
Students in the Fourth, Fifth and Sixth year of Primary school and in the First and Second year of Secondary school can participate. The aim is to stimulate the ability to establish synergies between different ages and physical abilities in order to succeed in the actions proposed to them. The students are accompanied by teachers from the school.
Aula Estiu
Aula Estiu is a programme of activities that takes place in the summer and is open to children aged 2 to 17, whether they are students of the school or not.
