Aula Recerca
Aula de Recerca (Aula Research) is a project directed by Ms. Maria Calsamiglia that has 3 aspects:
- to make pedagogical decisions based on evidence that is collected from our own praxis.
- to continuously train teachers to improve pedagogical praxis.
- to offer and encourage teachers to carry out their own pedagogical research in the school.
Why should we do research? Firstly, to improve as a school. Because conditions change, because students change, because challenges also change and because there is always room for improvement.
It is also important to do research to contribute to pedagogical development beyond school. When our research projects are supported and justified by evidence, we can communicate the conclusions to the rest of the educational community in the country and the world.
This ambitious project began in the 2021-2022 academic year, and these are the topics on which we have researched:
2024-2025
- Research on Inclusive Learning Support – foreign languages in Secondary School.
- Philosophizing with young researchers in Secondary School.
- Aula Natura in Kindergarten.
2023-2024
- Learning to play the violin: effect on the ability to concentrate in Primary School
- Artificial Intelligence: positioning and impact in the school.
- Correspondence between pairs on a common challenge – improvement of written productions in the French language.
- Rethinking the teaching of experimental sciences in schools.
2022-2023
- Attention to diversification in Mathematics.
- Gender and equity in the classroom.
- Sustainability and the environment.
2021-2022
- Computational thinking in Kindergarten.
- Reading promotion in Primary School.
- Educating in creativity in Secondary School.
