Competitions and projects

Students can take part in a variety of events. Whether they are fans of mathematics, literature or photography, they can find new ways to enhance their creativity.

Secondary and baccalaureate students have a wide variety of contests and competitions available to them, and can sign up according to their interests. Apart from developing skills and abilities, these activities will help them discover the pleasure of taking things further, of hard work, commitment and personal responsibility:

  • Maths competitions: Kangaroo contests, Math Sprints and Let’s Do Maths.
  • Literary and language competitions: Reading out loud competitions, Debate league, mNactec literature contest and classical culture contests such as the Medusa Mythological Exam or the Odissea contest among others.
  • Olympiads for: maths, biology, chemistry, physics and IT (which we organize).
  • Photography: Aula photography contest and Mathematical photography contest.
  • Digital Field: HP Codewars.

We encourage students to participate and enjoy these events, we help them and we guide them in preparing for them, and we also give them the option of taking part in two of the school’s own projects:

  • UMed Model (Mediterranean Union): based on the United Nations (UN) model, it allows students to discover the social, cultural, religious and linguistic diversity of the Mediterranean. Students can participate in debates and an intense programme of cultural activities with the aim of achieving a more united Mediterranean region.
  • Social entrepreneurship project: 3rd and 4th grade Secondary students can be part of several work teams to generate entrepreneurship projects that help solve or improve an existing problem or need in society.
